Russian cuisine is distinctive and unique, and as any other national one, it was formed under the influence of different environmental, social, geographical, economic and historical factors. The main feature of Russian cuisine is considered to be an abundance and variety of products used for cooking. Today we explore the russian soups and pancakes. What makes the Russian soups so rich and sophisticated, and why are the pancakes so delicious and soft?


  • Solyanka / Russian sour beef soup
  • Borscht soup / Russian beetroot soup, beef, vegetables
  • Okroska / Chilled sping soup, radish, eggs
  • Blini / Russian yeast pancake, salmon, dill
  • Oladuski / Fluffy kefir pancake, sweetened sour cream
  • Sirniki / Sweet cottage cheese donut

Gerenal infos

Cooking is hands-on, each pair preparing the full menu in small batches. Our cooking sessions last about 3 to 4 hours with typically 10 participants. The menu contains 3 to 7 courses/dishes. The food can be eaten at the course or taken home in small containers.

The first drink (1 bottle of beer or 1 glass of wine or 1 soft drink) is free. Next drinks can be paid after the class. You can also buy a premium drink package upgrade for 3990 HUF with unlimited consumption.

Our adult courses are targeted for adult participants, but we are happy to receive children as attendees over the age of 12 years with an adult.
